Unluckily it's gonna snow tomorrow.

Tomorrow is "The commemoration of the founding of the Nation." So people are having 3 days holidays. Some kinds of events will be held. But nasty weather will bother us.

Finshed planting for May-June shipment

 We finished planting in Tabata green houses and 2 small green houses with oil heater in Feb 1th. Michishita greenhouse needs to be repaired. Plastic was broken by strong wind in the end of last year. I couldn't plant there.

It hasn't rained so much in 2011. It was hard to get water for the plants.

I gave those young plants selectional weed killer "5-5-3". And this time, I gave the soils slaked lime besides usual former fertilizers.

Throwing Beans' Day.

Yesterday was Feb 3th- Setsubun. We throw beans with yelling out "Get away ,Demon! Come in Happyness!". That's Japanese traditional custom.

A brand new year! 2011!

I can't believe I'm in new year 2011 now. I don't want to believe I'm 40 years old now. I'm nothing in spite of 40. I don't want to accept the fact that I'm 40. However, like it or not, I'm a father of 3 kids. They are growing steadily day by day. The older I become, the more I lose my power. But, to be lucky, my kids have much energy. They present a part of their power to me everyday. That's why I can live in this tough world as a human being.
